About

Woodlake, developed in 1978, is a rural subdivision located south of College Station near the community of Wellborn. Woodlake is located outside of the College Station city limits and was developed in two sections providing a “country” setting with acreage lots.  Residing in Woodlake, away from city traffic and lights, offers a peaceful setting where one can enjoy wildlife sightings such as deer, roadrunners, pelicans, cranes, fox and even an occasional bald eagle. We enjoy the serenity of country life while remaining close to city amenities.

Section One is located from the front entrance on Greens Prairie Road extending down to Riva Ridge and Calumet Trail. Section Two, developed in 3 phases, consists of properties in the back part of the subdivision encompassing the private lake. Section two homeowners belong to the Woodlake Preservation Association (WPA) who oversee the maintenance and repair of the common areas and the lake. The lake in Woodlake is private and exists for the enjoyment of dues paying homeowners only. No memberships are offered to use/fish the lake. Trespassers will be removed by the sheriff.
